Quick answer

Cut and sew means each garment is built from flat fabric to your pattern, not decorated on a blank. Rockhint cuts and stitches every jersey, short and jacket in its own factory in Sialkot, Pakistan, so fit, seams and panel layout are made for your sport and your design.

Cut and sew vs printing on blanks

Cut and sew (Rockhint) Printing on blank shirts
Design All-over, across seams and sleeves Limited to a print area
Fit Patterned for the sport, sizes Youth XS–Adult 5XL Whatever the blank offers
Fabric Chosen per sport and weight Fixed by the blank
Features Fight straps, reinforced elbows, plackets, side panels None added
Branding Your own neck labels and tags Usually the blank brand’s label

Our cut and sew process

  1. Pattern making and grading. We make the pattern for your style and grade it across every size you order.
  2. Fabric preparation. Fabric is chosen to suit the sport, from 120 GSM soccer interlock to 280 GSM rugby knit, then sublimated if your design calls for it.
  3. Cutting. Panels are cut in-house so printed designs line up across the body, sleeves and collar.
  4. Stitching. Panels are joined with seams chosen for the job: flat, low-bulk seams for comfort on light jerseys; reinforced collar and shoulder seams for rugby; double layers at the elbows for hockey.
  5. Trims and finishing. Collars, plackets, buttons, drawcords, fight-strap loops and labels go on, then threads are trimmed and garments pressed.
  6. Final check and packing. Every garment is checked against the approved sample, then packed by size or player.
