Design tips from the factory floor
- Fewer, bolder elements read better from the stands. Thin lines and small text disappear at a distance.
- Check number contrast. Numbers must be readable for referees: dark on light or light on dark.
- Plan sponsor space early. Leagues often limit sponsor logo size; send the rules with your brief.
- Think about the whole kit. Matching shorts, socks and goalkeeper kits are easier to design together.
