Sample Development: See and Feel Your Uniform Before Bulk
A physical sample is one finished garment made exactly as your bulk order will be, so you can check it before paying for the full run. Rockhint makes samples in 10–12 days after you approve the mockup, then ships them to you by express courier.
Why a sample matters
A screen mockup shows the design. Only a real garment shows:
- how the colours look on fabric, in daylight
- the weight and feel of the fabric
- the fit on your players, over pads where needed
- print sharpness and stitching quality
Approving a sample protects your order: it becomes the standard every garment is checked against. See Quality Control.
How sampling works
| Step | Time |
|---|---|
| Approve the digital mockup | Day 0 |
| Sample made in the factory | 10–12 days |
| Courier to you with tracking | Depends on destination |
| You check and approve, or request changes | Your timing |
| Bulk production starts | After approval; 2–3 weeks |
How to check your sample
- Compare colours to your logo files in natural light
- Have two or three players try it on, in full gear for padded sports
- Check names and numbers for spelling, font and size
- Look at seams at the collar, shoulders and underarms
- Wash it once, cold and inside out, and check again
- Send any changes in one message, with photos
Sampling for brands
If you’re building a private label range, sample each style before your first run. It’s the cheapest way to fix fit or fabric before you hold stock.
